Carpet manufacturing runs in our blood as the fascinating business was started by our grandfather Late Mr. Mohd. Jafer Ansari in 1971 M/s. King Carpet Industries, one of the most respected & leading manufacturers & exporters of Indian hand knotted carpets. Later in 1991, it was renamed M/s. M. Jafar International, leading manufacturing & exporter of Indian handmade carpets & rugs.
The word “ModArt” is derived from “Modern Art” - a technique we use for making elegant and fine quality carpets & rugs for your splendid homes. At present, ModArt Rugs is one of the leading manufacturer & supplier of all kinds of Indian handmade carpets & customised rugs. The company was re-established in 2019 after the dissolution of its parent company & specialises in manufacturing Hand woven, Hand knotted, Handloom, Hand tufted, Shaggy, Kilim rugs etc.
